Your privacy is important to us. Flux is built on a simple principle: your health data belongs to you. Currently, all data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

1. Who We Are

Flux Hydration ("Flux", "we", "us", or "our") is developing the Flux: Hydration Science mobile application. We are based in Zürich, Switzerland.

2. Current State of the Application

Flux is currently in development (MVP). The application operates entirely locally on your device. No data is transmitted to our servers or to any third-party services.

3. What Data the Application Uses

To calculate your personalized hydration targets, the application uses information that you enter:

  • Body weight
  • Sleep and wake times
  • Training frequency and intensity

This data is stored exclusively on your device and used for local algorithmic computation. We do not have access to it.

4. Data Storage

All data remains on your device. No data is sent, stored, or processed on external servers. If you delete the application, all data is deleted with it.

5. Third-Party Services

The application currently does not use any third-party services. No data is shared with third parties.

6. Future Changes

As Flux evolves, we may introduce:

  • Account creation and data synchronization
  • Integration with health services (Apple Health, Google Health Connect)
  • A payment system for subscriptions

If such changes occur, this policy will be updated before their implementation, and you will be notified.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & nLPD)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD), you have the following rights:

  • Access: Know what data is being processed
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data
  • Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to certain types of processing

8. Children's Privacy

Flux is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy if our data processing practices evolve. Any significant changes will be communicated through the application before taking effect.
